What's the difference between Individual and Organisation DSC? ⌄
An Individual DSC is issued in a person's own name for personal filings like Income Tax and EPFO. An Organisation DSC is issued to an authorised signatory on behalf of a company, and is required for GST, MCA/ROC and tender filings.
Do I need the Combo/DGFT plan if I already import or export goods? ⌄
Yes. If your business is registered with an Import Export Code (IEC) and files on DGFT or ICEGATE, you need a DGFT-registered DSC. Our Combo/DGFT plan bundles this with a Class 3 Organisation certificate at ₹1,699/year.
Does the plan price include the USB token? ⌄
No. Plan pricing covers the certificate and issuance service only. A USB token to store your DSC is billed separately if you don't already have a compatible one.
Can I upgrade from Individual to Organisation or Combo/DGFT later? ⌄
Yes. You can apply for an additional certificate type at any time — many businesses hold both an Individual DSC for personal filings and an Organisation or DGFT DSC for company use.
What happens when my DSC expires? ⌄
We send renewal reminders before expiry so you can re-apply without any gap in your ability to e-file. Once expired, a certificate must be re-issued rather than reactivated, as per Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) guidelines.
